Art has the potential to bridge our worlds, harness the wisdom of our different views, engage our imagination to explore new ways of thinking, and create experiences that can be shared by all people in our community.
About the collection
Murdoch University's Art Collection is a vibrant cultural asset which reflects and celebrates the creativity and diversity of Australian contemporary visual arts practice. The collection is displayed across our campuses in Perth, Rockingham and Mandurah, including our new Art Gallery which hosts regular exhibitions throughout the year.

Art Gallery
Murdoch University's Art Gallery is a new dedicated space designed to showcase the university’s rich and diverse art collection. Located at our Perth campus, the Art Gallery was officially opened in November 2017. Spanning 190 square metres, it presents regular exhibitions highlighting various themes and features of the collection.

This pivotal support, has assisted in building a collection of national significance and ensuring that it remains an integral part of our students, staff and visitor’s campus experience.
